The Eco Slide water filter is a water softening system operating on the ion exchange principle.
Inside the softener there is a polymer resin that absorbs positively charged ions, specifically calcium and magnesium.

When the resin reaches its maximum capacity, it initiates regeneration and returns to its initial state.
Regeneration consists of removing the retained calcium and magnesium and replacing them with sodium ions.

The cabinet-type model is equipped with a volumetric control valve. The valve measures the amount of water passing through the system and automatically triggers regeneration once the preset volume is reached.
The volume of softened water depends on the hardness of the water and the amount of resin.
